A cylinder has a diameter of 20cm. The area of the curved surface is 100 m square . Find the height of the cylinder.​

Given:-

Diameter of cylinder =20 cm

Thus radius of the cylinder (r)= 20/2=10cm

Let, height of the cylinder =h cm

Given: Area of the curved surface area =100 cm²

Therefore, 2πrh=100

⇒2× 22/7×10×h=100

⇒h= 100×7/2×220

=1.59 cm =1.6 cm (corrected to one decimal place)
