PIE R^2 H =CYLINDER'S VOLUME 
3.14*5^2*16=1256 CM^3

1/3 PIE R^2 H=CONE'S VOLUME
1/3*3.14*16*12=200.96 CM^3

1256-200.96=1055.04 CM^3

THEREFORE,THE AIR SPACE SURROUNDING THE CONE INSIDE THE CYLINDER IS 1055.04 CM^3
