Given :

  • Height of cylinder = 3m.
  • Circumference of its base = 22m.

To Find :

  • Curved surface area of cylinder.

Solution :

According to the question :

We have,

  • h = 3m.
  • 2πr = 22m.

Using Formula : CSA of cylinder = 2πrh

⟶ 22m × 3m

⟶ 66m²

Hence, the curved surface area of cylinder = 66m².

(a) is the correct option .

Given:

• Height of the cylinder (h) = 3m

• circumference of it's base = 22 m

To find:

curved surface area of the cylinder :

Solution:

• First find radius :

=> Circumference = 22

=> 2πr = 22

=> r = 22/2×7/22

=> r = 7/2 m

Radius = 7/2 m

• As we know that ,

• CSA of cylinder = 2πrh

=> CSA of cylinder = 2(22/7)(7/2)(3)

=> CSA of cylinder = 22×3

=> CSA of cylinder= 66 sq. m
