We know that, In a gaseous mixture, the Partial pressure of individual gas is the product of the total pressure and the mole fraction of the gas

Partial Pressure = Total pressure * mole fraction

We also know that, PV = nRT

Where, n is number of moles

Partial pressure of CO= Mass of CO / Molecular mass of CO = Mass of CO / 28

Partial pressure of N2= Mass of N2 / Molecular mass of N2 = Mass of N2/ 28

Ratio of partial pressure = (Mass of CO / 28) / (Mass of N2 / 28)

Since Both the masses are equal, Ratio = 1:1
