A cylinder is open at both ends and made of 3 cm thick metal, the external diameter is 24cm and height is 168 cm. what is the volume of metal used in making the cylinder? find the weight of cylinder, if 2cm^3 of the metal weighs 15 g.

volume of metal=volume of total cylinder-volume of inner cylinder (which is removed)=π[(24/2)^2 - (18/2)^2](H)

So weight will be v(calculated above) × (15/2)
