first let the length be 2x
and breadth be x
now both figures have same area
so, 2X×X=1250
2Xsquare=1250
Xsquare=1250/2=625
X=
 \sqrt{625}
X=25
then put the value of X in length and breadth
length =50m, breadth =25m
hope it will help you

Given :
Curved Surface Area (CSA) = 1250m²

According to the question,
The cylinder is formed into a rectangular metallic sheet.

Also,
given : The length of the rectangular sheet is double its breadth.

Let,
breadth be \bf{b} m
length = \bf{2b} m

So,
\bf{Area\: of\: the\: rectangular\: sheet = CSA\: of \:cylinder }

=> length × breadth = 1250

=> \bf{2b}×\bf{b} = 1250

=> \bf{2b}² = 1250

=> \bf{b}² = \frac{1250}{2}

=> \bf{b}² = 625

=> \bf{b} = \sqrt{625}

=> \bf{b} = 25

Therefore, breadth (\bf{b}) = 25 m,
and length = 2b = 2×25 = 50 m
