[Q]__?

Height of the cylinder, h = 30 cm

Radius of the cylinder, r = 7 cm

∴ volume of the cylinder,

•Vc = πr^2

•Vc= 22/7 × (7)^2 ×30cm^3

•Vc= 4620cm^3

•Vc= 4.62 × 10^-3 m^3

Since the cylinder is completely immersed in the fluid,

∴ Buoyant force = volume of the cylinder × fluid density × g

= V cρ g

= 4.62 × 10^-3 × 1.3 ×10^3×10

= 60 N

∴The buoyant force acting on the cylinder is 60 N!
