A cylinder of length 1m and radius 1 cm
is closed at one end and open at another.
Monoatomic gas fills the cylinder at
atmospheric pressure. The other end of
cylinder is closed by a soap film of
surface tension 0.05 N/m. Atmospheric
pressure = 3 x 103 Pa. The gas in the
cylinder is heated till the pressure
reaches the maximum value. What is the
heat given to the gas. If answer is
n7 x 10-3, fill n in OMR sheet (Round
off to nearest integer)

Answer:

Excess pressure for soap bubble, ΔP=

where T= surface tension.

Here, P
