A cylinder of length 20cm and radius 10cm is rotating about its central axis at an angular speed of 100 radians per second. What is the tangential force which will stop the cylinder which turns at uniform rate in 10 seconds ? The moment of inertia of the cylinder about its axis of rotation is 0.8 kgm^2.

Length of the cylinder, L=20 m
Radius of the cylinder, R=0.1 m
Initial angular speed, ω1=100 rad/s
Final angular speed, ω2=0
Time, t=10 s
Moment of inertia, I = 0.8 kg.m2
