A cylinder-shaped water tank has a height of 3.2m and the radius is 1.5m. John wants to fill up the tank with water. It takes 5 minutes to fill up the tank with 100 liters of water. a) How many liters of water will be needed to fill up the tank? (4 marks) b) How much time will John need to fill up the full tank​

Every cubic metre has 1000L in it. So we work out the cubic metres of your tank: 3m x 2m x 1m = 6m3 (six cubic metres). Therefore we have 6000L of water. This assumes perfectly square edges. For curved edges and corners we can only approximate without a lot more information and a lot more math
