A cylinder tank has a capcity of 6160m3find its depth if it's radius is 14m also find the cost of painting it's curved surface at30per m

capacity of cylinder= 6160m
radius= 14m
curved surface area of cylinder= 2πrh
2*22/7*14*h = 6160m^3
44*2h = 6160m^3
88h = 6160m^3
h= 6160/88
= 70m

ans. = 70m depth

Volume of the tank is
\pi {r}^{2} h = 6160 {m}^{3}
where h is the depth and r is the radius
h =  \frac{6160}{\pi {r}^{2} }  \\  =  \frac{6160 \times 7}{22 \times 14 \times 14}  \\  = 10m
Now area of the curved surface is
2\pi \times \: r \times h = 2 \times \frac{22}{7}  \times 14 \times 10 \\  = 880 {m}^{2}
cost of painting the curved surface is
 \frac{880}{30}  = 29.33
