Consider the cylindrical tank:

Diameter=1.4m

Radius=r1=21.4=0.7m

Height =h1=2.1=1021m

Consider the cylindrical pipe:

Diameter=3.5cm=1035cm=27cm

Radius=r2=47cm=4007m

Speed =h2=2mper sec

∴ Time taken to fill the tank=VolumeofcylindricalpipeVolumeofcylindricaltank

=πr22h2πr12h1

=π×4007×4007
