a cylinder vessel open at the top has a base of radius10.5 cm and height 14 cm. find the cost of painting the innee vessel at the rate of rupees 10 per hundered sq. cm.

Given,

Radius = 10.5 cm

Height = 14 cm

Inner Area = CSA + Area of base.

=> Inner Area = 2πrh + πr^2

=> Inner Area = 2 x 22/7 x 10.5 x 14 + 22/7 x 10.5 x 10.5

=> Inner Area = (924 + 346.5) cm^2

=> Inner Area = 1270.5 cm^2


Now,


=> Cost of per hundred cm^2 = Rs (1270.5 x 10/100)

=> Cost = Rs 127.05
