Answer:

height is 4 cm

Step - step explanation :

Given

radius = 21 cm

Curved surface area of cylinder = 528

height = ?

To find height :

C.S.A = 2πrh = 528 cm2

2 × 22/7 × 21 × h = 528

(21 is cancelled by 7 so we get 3 )

2 × 22 × 3 × h = 528

44 × 3 × h = 528

132× h = 528

h = 528 / 132

h = 4 cm

  • h = 4 cm

Hope it helps you ..!!!

solution ⤵️

curved surface area of the cylinder =2πrh

given data,

Curved surface area of the cylinder =528cm²

radius of cylinder =21cm

height =x cm

now we find the height of the cylinder

to find the height of the cylinder we follow these steps:-

CSA of cylinder =2πrh

2×22/7×21×x=528

or,x=528×7/22×2×21

or,x=4

therefore height of the cylinder =4cm

formula for cylinder :-

1)csa =2πrh

2)lsa =2πr²

3)tsa=2πr(r+h)
