Hiii!!!
Here's Ur answer...
Given :-
Radius of the cylinder = 8cm
Height of the cylinder = 2cm
Volume of the cylinder = πr²h
= 22/7 × 2 × 2 × 8
= 704/7cm³
Therefore volume of the cone after melting the cylinder = 704/7cm³
==> 1/3πr²h = 704/7cm³
==> 1/3 × 22/7 × r² × 6 = 704/7cm³
==> 22/7 × r² × 2 = 704/7cm³
==> 44/7 × r² = 704/7cm³
==> r² = 704/7 × 7/44
==> r² = 704/44
==> r² = 16
==> r = √16
==> r = 4cm
Hence, radius of the cone is 4cm.
Hope this helps..!!
