A cylinder with radius 3•5cm has its two ends closed. If the total surface area is 209cm. Calculate the height of the cylinder (take 22/7).

Radius = 3.5cm

Total S A = 209cmsq.

=》2pi r (h + r) = 209

=》2×22/7×3.5 (h + 3.5) = 209

=》h + 3.5 = 209× 7÷2×22×3.5

=》 h + 3.5 = 9.5

=》 h = 9.5 - 3.5 = 6

Therefore height of cylinder is 6cm
