we total surface area(TSA) = area of base+curved surface area

as the cylinder is open one side we are not adding surface area of the top

so TSA =>2π(r^2)+2πrh

=>(2*3.14*(1.1*1.1))+(2*3.14*1.1*3)

=>7.5988+20.724

=>28.3228 m^2

we know that volume of cylinder is 2*π*(r^2)*h

as we know that the volume of water will be same as volume of cylinder

=>2*3.14*1.1*1.1*3

=>22.7964 m^3

so total surface area of open cylindrical tank is 28.3228 m^2 and volume of water is 22.7964 m^3
