Answer:

Total Surface Area is 4.4 metre cube

Step-by-step explanation:

Total Surface Area = 2πR(R+H)

R=0.025 m

H=38m

π=3.14

Answer:

Length/Height of cylindrical pipe = 28 m

Diameter of cylindrical pipe = 5 cm

∴ Radius of cylindrical pipe = 5/ 2 = 2.5 cm

Since the length of the cylindrical pipe is in metres, we have to change it to centimetres.

∴ 1 meters = 100 centimetres

∴ 28 meters = 28 x 100 = 2800 cm

Total surface area = 2πr (r + h)

                              = 2 x 3.14 x 2.5 ( 2.5 + 2800)

                              = 6.28 x 2.5 ( 2.5 + 2800)

                              = 15.7 ( 2.5 + 2800)

                              = 15.7 ( 2802.5 )

                              = 43999.25 cm²
