Explanation :- initially fir open pipe , fundamental frequency V₀ = V/2L = f (given)

But , when it is halt dipped in water , then it becomes closed organ pipe of length L/2 in this case , fundamental frequency

V' = v/4L' = V/4× L/2 = V/2L = f

fundamental frequency of the air column will be same .
