Answer:

The height of water level in the rectangular tank is 24 cm .

Step-by-step explanation:

SOLUTION :

Given :

Height of cylindrical bucket, H = 72 cm

Length of a rectangular tank, l = 66 cm

Breadth of a rectangular tank, b = 28 cm

Diameter of a cylindrical bucket = 28 cm

Radius of the cylindrical bucket ,r = 28/2 = 14 cm

Let h be the height of a rectangular tank

Volume of rectangular tank = Volume of cylindrical bucket

l × b × h = πr²H

66 × 28 × h = 22/7 × 14² × 72

h = (22 × 14 × 14 × 72)/(66 × 28 × 7)

h = 24 cm

Hence, the height of water level in the rectangular tank is 24 cm .
