EXPLANATION.

A cylinder container is to be made of tin.

The height of the container is = 7cm

The radius of the base is = 4cm.

if the container is open at the top and tin

sheets cost 308 per m² .

What will be the cost of tin for making

the container.

According to the question,

Height of cylinder = 7 cm

radius of Base = 4 cm

C.S.A of cylinder. = 2πrh

=> 2 X 22/7 X 4 X 7

=> 176 cm²

=> Thin sheets cost = 308 per m²

=> 176 X 308

=> 54280 cm².

Therefore,

The cost of tin for making the

container = 54280 cm²
