a) volume of cylinder=πr^2h
=π(6)^2(5)=180π cm^3
=562.5 cm^3

b) volume of rise water in cylinder when body submergerd =volume of body

πr^2H=4/3π(2)^3
(6)^2H=4/3 x 8
H=32 /108 cm
hence rise water is 32/108 cm
