water to submerge a rectangular solid of iron with dim
(32 cm x 22 cm x 14 cm). Find the rise in the level of water when the
solid is completely submerged.

As we know that volume of solid = volume of liquid raised up

because volume of water is raised in cylindrical vessel hence

volume of water raised up = πr^2d

where d is height of water raise up

r is radius of cylinder

3.14×28×28×d=9856

hence d=4.0036 cm
