Step-by-step explanation:

Vol of a cylinder= πr²h

3080cm³= 22/7 × r²× 20cm

280cm²×7= 2×r²×20

r²= 280cm²×7/40

r= √7cm²×7

= 7cm

Let the radius of the cylindrical tank be r cm then diameter = 2r cm.

ATQ

Capacity = 3080 cm^3 (V)

depth = 20 cm (h)

Volume of cylinder = capacity of cylinder

==> πr^2h = 3080

==> 22/7 x r^2 x 20 = 3080

==> r^2 = 3080 x 7 / 20 x 22

==> r^2 = 49

==> r = 7 cm

Therefore, the diameter of the tank is 2r , i.e. 14 cm.
