The internal radius of the cylinder = 7/2 = 3.5 cm

The volume of the cube = 5x5x5 = 125cm³

The volume of water displaced = volume of the cube

If the rise in height = h
Volume of water displaced = 22/7 x 3.5² x h = 125

h = 125 x 7/22 /3.5²
   = 3.247 cm

The water will rise by 3.247cm
