=> CSA = 2 π r h

=> CSA = 2 × ( 22/7 ) × 3 × 21

=> CSA = 2 × 22 × 3 × 3

=> CSA = 44 × 9

=> CSA = 396 m²

Now, we have to find the cost of painting it at Rs 50 per .

We know cost of painting 1 is Rs. 50, So cost for painting 239

=> Cost = 396 × 50

=> Cost = Rs 19,800

So, cost of painting outer area of light house will be Rs 19,800.
