a cylindrical of curved surface area 1250 m square is formed from a rectangular metallic sheet. find the dimension of the rectangular sheet if its length is double its breadth

let the breadth and length be x and 2x respectively

C.S.A. of cylinder = Ar. of rectangle

1250 = l×b

1250 = x(2x)

1250 = 2x^2

x^2 = 1250 /2

x^2 = 625

x = √625

x= 25

breadth = 25m

length = 2 ×25 = 50 cm
