Here r = 60/2 = 30 = 0.3 m

h = 3.5 m

Curved surface area of the pillar = 2πrh

= 2×22/7 ×0.3×3.4 = 6.41

Cost of painting 1 = 18.50

∴ Total cost of painting the curved surface of the pillar

= Rs. 18.50 × 6.41 = Rs 118.58

Answer:

₹ 2442

Step-by-step explanation:

h = 60 cm

r = 3.5 cm

Sc = 2 pi rh

= 2 × 22/7 × 3.5 × 60

= 2 × 22/7 × 35/10 × 60

=2 × 22 × 5/10 × 60

= 2640 × 5 /10

= 1320/10

= 132 sq. cm.

Cost of painting the pillar = ₹18.50 × 132

= ₹ 2442.00

= ₹ 2442
