Here u go

Hope it helps you

r = 25 cm = 0.25 ,h=3.5m

So as per the formula we get,

C.S.A = 2π r h

= 2 ×22/ 7 ×0.25 × 3.5 = 5.5 m²

cost of painting the curved surface of the pillar = 5.5× 12.50 = Rs 68.75

Therefore the cost of painting is Rs.68.75

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

the height as h : 3.5m or 350cm

radius as r : 50cm/2  25cm

cost of painting = 12.5  rupees

csa of cylinder = 2πrh

=> 2*22/7*25*350

=>44/7*8750

=> 44*1250

=> 55000cm²

=> 5.5m² = csa

=> cost of painting = 5.5 * 12.5

=> 68.75 rupees

thus the total cost of painting = 68.75 rupees
