A cylindrical road roller made of iron is 1.5 m wide its inner diameter is 60 cm and the thickness of iron sheet rolled into the road roller is 10 cm . find the weight of roller if 1 centimeter cube weight 8 gram.?

if we unrolled the roller into sheet ,width of roller is the length of sheet AND diameter of roller is the breadth of the sheet

To find the Weight of roller so we have to find the volume of roller that is equal to the volume of sheet

Volume of sheet = L×B×H

=150×60×10

=90000 cube cm

Therefore the volume of roller is 90000 cube cm

if 1 cube centimetres =8 gm

then 90000 cube centimetres =8×90000

=720000 gm

=720 kg

Therefore, the weight of roller is 720 kg
