A cylindrical rod is 30 cm long and 1.4 cm thick . If the metal weighs 10 gm per cm3 , find its total weight and cost at Rs. 45 per kg.

=22/7×0.7×0.7×30

=46.2 cm³

Weight of the rod = 46.2×10= 462g = 0.462 kg

Cost of the rod = 0.462×45= ₹20.79
