Answer:

... for one revolution area covered

is 2 πrx25=2x22x7x25/7=1100m2

Total distance moved=5500m2

No. of revolutions = 5500/110=5

Given :

Height of cylinder = 25 m

Radius of cylinder = 7 m

Area = 5500 m²

Find :

Number of revolutions.

Solution :

Curved surface area of cylinder = Distance travelled in one turn

2πrh = 5500

Now,

Distance travelled = "n" number of turms

So,

→ n × 2πrh = 5500

→ n × 2 × 22/7 × 7 × 25 = 5500

→ n × 44 × 25 = 5500

→ n × 1100 = 5500

→ n = 5

The cylindrical roller makes 5 turns.
