volume of cylinder is
\pi {r}^{2} h
putting the values we get
 \frac{22}{7} .1.1.40 \\  = 125.71 {cm}^{3}

Height of the cylinderical solid(h)=40cm

Diameter of the cylinderical solid (d)=2cm

Radius of the cylinderical solid (r)=d/2=1cm

Volume of the cylinderical solid =πr²h

=π×1²×40cm³=125.66cm³
