Hi ,

The dimensions of the cylinder is :

height of the cylinder = h= 40 inches

diameter = d = 2 inches

radius = d/2

r = 2/2 = 1 inch
___________________________________________

volume of the cylindrical solid = πr²h cubic units
___________________________________________

V = 22/7 × 1² × 40

V = 880 / 7

V = 125.714 cubic inhes

I hope this helps you.
