Answer:

Given,

diameter of a cylindrical tank = 7m

Now,we have to find the radius of the cylindrical tank

By using formula: diameter /2

Radius = 7m / 2

= 3.5m

Height of a cylindrical tank = 4m

Now,

we have to find the total surface area of a cylindrical tank

By using formula :

\pir(r + h)

According to the question

= 22/7 × 3.5(4+3.5)

= 22/7 × 3.5 × 7.5 m2

= 82.5 m2
