Volume of cylindrical tank
= πr²h = 22/7×(3/2)²×3.5 = 24.75 m³ or 24750 litres (∵ 1m³=1000 litres)
Volume of half of the hank (Volume to be emptied)
= 24750/2 = litres
Time needed to empty half the tank = 12375/225 = 55 minutes Ans.
