Given :-

Capacity (volume) of cylindrical tank = 5632 m cube

Diameter of its base = 16m

Radius = diameter ÷ 2

Radius = 16 ÷ 2 = 8m

(Height is not given)

Let

the height be 'h'

\bf volume = \pi {r}^{2} h \\ \\ = 5632 = \frac{22}{7} \times {8}^{2} \times h \\ \\ = 5632 = \frac{22}{7} \times 64 \times h \\ \\ = 5632 = \frac{1408}{7} \times h \\ \\ = 5632 \times \frac{7}{1408} = h \\ \\ = \frac{39424}{1408} = h \\ \\ = 28 = h

Hence height (depth) of the cylindrical tank = 28m

CHECK

\bf (volume)capcity \: of \: cylindrical \: tank = \pi {r}^{2}  h \\ \\ = \frac{22}{7} \times 8 \times 8 \times 28 \\ \\ = 22 \times 64 \times 4 \\ \\ = 1408 \times 4 \\ \\ = 5632 {m}^{3}
