a cylindrical tank has a capacity of 6160 cu cm. find its depth if its radius is 14 m. calculate the cost of painting its curved outer surface at the rate of rs 3 per square meter.
its urgent.....pls help!!!

qais: i think the volume is in cubic metre...am i right???

As the unit of volume given in the question is too small so considering it 6160 m³
Volume of cylindrical tank = π r²×h
⇒6160= π×(14)²×h
⇒h = 10 m
now, the area of curved surface= 2π r×h =2π ×14×10 =880 m²
cost of painting that surface = Rs 3×880 = Rs 2640

Barbei: Please check question carefully then answer.
Barbei: Volume of cylinder=6160 cu.cm=.00616cm.m , h=.00001m
Barbei: Mr. Qais . sorry!!
qais: see my consideration
qais: that much volume with radius 14 m is practically impossible
so i'm using little bit of logic

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The volume given in question is too small. So,volume is 6160m³.

Volume=πr²h

6160=22/7*14*14

6160*7/22*14*14=10 m.

Curved surface=2πrh

2*22/7*14*10=880.

Cost of painting=Rs.3

3*880=2640
