capacity \: of \: cylndrical \: tank \:  = 6160 \:  {m}^{3}

As we know that,

volume of cylinder = πr^2h

( where r is the base radius, h is the height of cylinder)

as given that

radius of cylinder, r = 28 m

hence,

π r^2h = 6160

 \frac{22}{7}  \times  {(28)}^{2} h = 6160 \\  \\  \frac{22}{7}  \times 28 \times 28 \times h = 6160 \\  \\ h =  \frac{6160 \times 7}{22 \times 28 \times 28}  \\  \\ h = 2.5 \: m

Now, we have

r = 28 m

h = 2.5 m

Also,

CSA of cylinder = 2πrh

(putting values)

csa \: ofcylinder \:  = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 28 \times 2.5

CSA of cylinder = 440 m^2

HENCE THE CURVED SURFACE AREA OF CYLINDER WILL BE 440 SQUARE METRES.
