Volume = Pi * r^2 * height

11 litres = 11,000 cm^3

11,000 = Pi * 17.5^2 * height

Height = 11,000/Pi* 17.5^2

Height = 11.4 cm

This is the amount that

the water level will

drop by.

Hope this helps.

Volume of cylinder

 = \pi {r}^{2} h

_______________________

11l = 11000 {cm}^{3}

11000 = \pi \times  {(17.5)}^{2}  \times h

h =  \frac{11000}{\pi \times  {(17.5)}^{2} }  \\  \\  = 11.4cm
