A cylindrical vessel, open at the top, has a radius 10 cm and height 14 cm. Find

Area of top = Area of circle= πr²

3.14 x 10² = 3.14 x 100

Therefore surface area of the cylinder =

TSA - area of top = 1507.2 - 314 = 1193.2
