Total surface area of cylinder = 2πr(h + r)

But here the top is open, so total surface area

= 2πrh + πr²

2πrh = 2 × 22/7 × 14 × 10

=> 44 × 20

=> 880cm²

πr² = 22/7 × (14)²

=> 22/7 × 196

=> 22 × 28

=> 616cm²

So total surface area = 880 + 616 = 1496cm²

Hope it helps dear friend ☺️

hey there

We know that

Total surface area of cylinder = 2πr(h + r)

But here it is a open cylinder  = 2πrh + πr²

2πrh

2 × 22 / 7 × 14 × 10

44 × 20

880cm² * 22/7 × (14)²

22/7 × 196

22 × 28

> 616cm²

So total surface area = 880 + 616 = 1496cm²

hope it helps you
