a cylindrical vessel, open at the top,has a radius of 10 cm and height 14 cm.find the total surface area of the vessel.(take π=3.14)

HannanM: take tsa of cylinder and then subtract pie r2 (hollow part)
HannanM: then apply 2 pie r(r+h) - pie r2
HannanM: 2*22/7*10(10+14) - 22/7*10*10
HannanM: 1507 - 314 =>1193.2

Total surface area =2×314/100×10(10+14)

=2×314/10×24

=314/5×24

=7536/5

=1057.2sq.cm

siddhant7777: 1193.2 answer hai budbak
