C.S.A of cylinder =

2\pi \: r \: h

As one side of the vessel is open and another is closed ,

T.S.A. OF VESSEL ------->

2\pi \: r \: h \:  + \pi \:  {r}^{2}

 \implies \:  2 \times 3.14 \times 10 \times 14 + 3.14 \times 14 \times 14 \:

 \implies \: 1494.64 {m}^{2}
