Solution:

Given,

Height of the well = 21m

Inner diameter= 14m

So,

Radius= 14/2 = 7m

We know that,Curved surface area of the cylinder;

=) 2πrh sq. unit.

$= > 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 7 \times 21 \\ \\ = > 44 \times 21 \\ \\ = > 924 {m}^{2}$

Now,

Cost at the rate of Rs.25 /m².

Therefore,

➨Rs.(924m² × 25)

➨Rs.23100
