 \bf{\underline{\underline{Answer:}}}

 \bf{\therefore40 \:kg\: m\: {s}^{-1}}

 \bf{\underline {Given:}}

Mass of the dummbell, m = 10 kg

Distance attain by the dummbell, s = 80 cm = 0.8 m

Acceleration in the downward direction, a = 10 m/s²

Initial velocity of the dummbell, u = 0

 \bf{\underline {To\:find:}}

Momentum = ?

 \bf{\underline{\underline{Step\: by\: step \:explanation:}}}

We know that,

v² = u² + 2 as

v² = 0 + 2 (10) 0.8

v² = 16

v = 4 m/s

Now, we know that,

Momentum, p = Mass × Velocity

= 10 × 4

= \bf{40 \:kg\: m{s}^{-1}}
