Let daughter’s present age be x
Then fathers present age= 2x
According to the question,
10 years ago,
3(x-10)= 2x-10
3x- 30= 2x-10
x= 20
Therefore, father’s present age= 2x= 40 years
And daughter’s present age= x= 20 years
