a day alone at home compostion

It was 7th february 2013. my mother and father had gone to a party. t did nit want to go with them because i had exam on the next day and i had to prepare for it. i was left alone at home after 15 or 20 minutes the lights went off.
i got scared because i was left alone in the house and the most scary thing , light was not there. after some time when i looked outside i was  shocked to see that the other houses lights  were on.i got really scared. sometimes i heard that someone was running on the terrace. sometimes i felt that someone was there in the room ans sometimes i heard that someone was calling me, but i ignored all because i had to concentrate on my study. For a time everything became quiet.
After a period of time i heard that someone was opening the gate. i had no courage to go and see what it is. but then i saw that my father and mother was there after 5-10 minute, the light came back. from that onward i never stayed at home.........
