C.p of an article = Rs.A (let)
12000x75/100 = Ax90/100
=> 12000x75/90 = Rs. 10000
Again. profit = Rs.440
Therefore, S.P. = 10000 + 440 = Rs. 10440
Discount = 12000 - 10440 = Rs.1560
If discount = A%, then
12000xA/100 = 1560
=> A = 1560x100/12000 = 13%
12000x75/100 = Ax90/100
=> 12000x75/90 = Rs. 10000
Again. profit = Rs.440
Therefore, S.P. = 10000 + 440 = Rs. 10440
Discount = 12000 - 10440 = Rs.1560
If discount = A%, then
12000xA/100 = 1560
=> A = 1560x100/12000 = 13%
