GIVEN
Number of rackets dealer bought = 80
Rate of each racket = Rs 50
Total cost of 80 rackets
= Rs (80 x 50)
= Rs 4000
Cost of 20 racket
= Rs (20 x 50)
= Rs 1000
5% profit of Rs 1000 is
= Rs 5000 / 100
= Rs 50
He sold 20 racket at
Rs 1000 + Rs 50 = Rs 1050
10 % profit of whole
= (10 x 4000) / 100
= Rs 400
Cost of remaining 60 rackets
= 60 x 50
= Rs 3000
As dealer had already gained profit by Rs 50 on 20 rackets.
Remaining profit he has to gain in 60rackets
= Rs (400 - 50)
= Rs 350
Therefore, profit % on selling remaining rackets
= 350 x 100 / 3000
= 35 / 3 %
= 11 2 / 3 % or 11.66 %
